Fantastic $30 Cartography Software Bundle Is a Online Gaming GM's Dream
Following a brief run earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back with an encore that lasts through early December. Hailed as an extensive collection of mapping tools created by a specialized software company over the years, the complete package carries a value of more than thirteen hundred dollars. And there are three different bundles available here.
Primary Feature
The big draw is certainly a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard cartography program which enables users to create everything from epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, urban layouts, and, perhaps most importantly, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Entry Level
The cheapest bundle tier, starting at just one dollar, features merely four from the thirty-nine available products: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Castle Source Maps, and Source Maps: Cities!. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.
Intermediate Package
The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from all sides. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

All 17 volumes from the Annual series come with this bundle, alongside a slew of additional tools and content that can help users craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on classic fantasy realm creation: combat arenas, dungeons, cities, and land masses from almost any perspective. You can even design character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection offers tremendous value, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously an even better deal for map-making newbies since it includes the beginners' tutorials to help you get started. The sole limitation is that while the purchase is available across platforms, the software is only usable on Windows.
Philanthropic Aspect
Similar to previous bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. In this instance, that's Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
